On July 8, 1943, King Solomon and Essie V Glenn welcome Betty Jane Glenn into world in Louisville, Mississippi.
She was the oldest sister out of five girls; Margaret Lee Glenn, Lessie Bee Glenn, Nellie Jean Glenn and Bonnie Tean
Glenn; and four boys, Willie Homer, Dee Samuel Glenn, Roy Bee Glenn and Joe Lee Glenn. Betty Jane Glenn went to
Mount Olive Grammar School in Louisville Mississippi. After staying in Mississippi for 18 years, Betty Jane Glenn
decide to leave Louisville, Mississippi, when she was 19 years old and came to Chicago, IL to explore life.
She spent a lot time in Chicago, IL, just enjoying life. She took on odds jobs and had some good old fun, then she
meets a man name Austin Sullivan. They had been dating for a long time and decided to get married in December
1963. Betty Jane Glenn became Mrs. Betty Jane Sullivan. After a while in life Betty Jane Sullivan found Jehovah,
she was studying the bible learning and preaching the good news after a while of studying, Betty Jane
Sullivan decided to get baptized and kept Jehovah in her world and in her heart.
Betty Jane Sullivan has four children, Catherine Glenn, Alane (Calvin) Sullivan Worsham, John Austin Sullivan and
Jessica (Antonio) Sullivan Hadley. Her grandchildren are Antonio Deshaun Glenn, Gorgette Glenn, Tammy Glenn,
April Glenn, John Antonio Sullivan, Ebony C Sullivan, Crystal Sullivan, Antonio Ocasio, King Solomon Glenn, Jermiah
Glenn, Haniya Anthony, Dayrontay Glenn, Isiah Glenn, Antonio Glenn Jr and Joshuwa Glenn.
Betty Jane Sullivan was a funny woman. When it was time for her to see the doctor she would go into the bathroom
and lock the door, thinking that the doctor would leave, but he would be waiting outside the bathroom door for her.
Then she would give in and let the doctor check her. She loved her family dearly; she would go out her way and own
responsibilities because she had a lovely heart and felt it was the right thing to do.
On May 25, 2020, Betty became ill and suffered from heart failure.
She went to First Community Medical Center in Chicago, then was
transferred to Resurrection Hospital for extra care. On May
30, 2020, Betty Jane Sullivan expired from heart failure and
left behind her husband, Austin Sullivan, her four children
and her grandchildren. Our mother was a beautiful,
smart, amazing, strong, faithful and a loving woman,
we will never forget her, thanks to our dad for meet-
ing and marrying her. We love you so much mom
