Obituary for Carol Ann Denise Fultz

Carol Ann Denise Fultz was born August 16, 1963 in Chicago IL
to Melissa Fultz and McKinley Fultz Sr. Carol, “Sue” attended
Shakespeare School, Jacob A Riis, and Crane High School.
Carol, also known as “Big Sue”, was a member of the Old Ship of
Zion where she joined the choir and then became the choir director.
Carol later relocated to Rockford around 1989, where she was
instrumental in the community as a Counselor and mentor to every-
one she came across. Anyone who knew her knew she was very
outspoken, loving but stern and caring. Sue loved her family very
much and would do anything she could for them and whoever she
was involved with.
Carol is preceded in death by: Her father, Mckinley Sr.; nephew,
Joseph J. Cook; niece, Melinda Anderson; and brother, Jody White.
She leaves to cherish: Her mother, Melissa Fultz; five sons, Michael
Fultz, Marcell Fultz, Darryl Fultz, Charles Brown Jr. and Quintize
Brown, Sr.; eight grandkids, Quintize Jr, Dariyah, Kyliah, Tanijah,
Quaniya, Darry, Khalessia and Amariah; seven brothers, Donald
Spearman, Michael Spearman, Mckinley Fultz, Anthony Fultz,
Gregory Fultz, Ike Fultz and Jeffery Hunter; six sisters. Rona Fultz,
Sharon White, Carmen White, Angel White, Ingrid White and Gwen
White; and a host of family and friends.
