Clara Mae hill was born to Oda Mae
and Fred Taylor in Helena, AR on July
29, 1956.

Clara professed a hope in Jesus Christ
at a young age and joined St. Paul
Missionary Baptist Church.

She attended Central High School where she graduated in
1973. In 1977 she moved to Chicago where she worked
with multiple companies but found her passion when she
joined the Chicago Police Department. She served faithfully
for 34 years until she retired in 2017.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Oda Mae and
Fred Taylor. Her sister, Learleane Burnett and her brother
Dan Taylor.

Clara is survived by: Her husband of 16 years, Jerry Hill;
two daughters, Rita Goldman (Tony) and Sharita Taylor;
six grandchildren, Kapri, Tony Jr., Katera, Tyree, Anton and
Cherish; two sisters, Iona Mitchell and Ann Redd (Henry);
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
