Obituary for Dwayne Vance

Dwayne Vance was born on March 30, 1963 to the union of
Eddie and Vera Vance. Dwayne was born and raised in Chicago,
being the seventh of eleven children.
Dwayne was Baptized and received Christ at an early age.
He attended Newberry Elementary and Lincoln Park High School.
As a child, Dwayne was very adventurous. He loved riding and
fixing bikes, but his true passion was skating. Anyone that met
Dwayne loved him. Dwayne was very giving, kind, and would
help anyone. Dwayne was a big kidder, he loved to laugh and
crack jokes. He was very affectionate and just a joy to be around.
Dwayne was known by many names; Unc, Shorty, and Lil man.
Dwayne came from a family that loved him. His parents, Eddie L.
Vance and Vera Vance; and siblings, Vanessa Selvy, Briggette
Vance-Ray, Nazareth Vance and Edward Vance all preceded him
in death.
Dwayne leaves to cherish his loving memory: His siblings, Eddie
Vance, Debra Selvy (Jessie Selvy), Don Vance, Suzette Vance,
Irving Vance (Sandra), Venita Vance; two special aunts, Ann Jack-
son and Flossie Trimble; four uncles, Paul, Bob, Lee and JV; and a
host of nieces, nephews, other special relatives, loved ones and
plenty of friends.
Dwayne was a man that was loved by many and he will truly be
missed.
