Elizabeth Howard was born on November 6, 1927 to Alonzo and Bessie Durham in
Chicago, Illinois. Both preceded her in death. Elizabeth gave her life to Christ and was
baptized at an early age. She remained a believer in Christ for her entire life.
She worked for Children's Memorial Hospital for 30 years until her retirement in 1990 as
a Registered Nurse.
She loved Soap Opera’s and Judge Judy. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother,
sister, aunt and friend.
On August 17, 2020 she departed this life at home she loved so well at 3:00 p.m.
She is preceded in death by: Her son, Donald Howard; brother, Alonzo Durham; sister,
Geraldine Coney; sister-in-law, Ethel Durham; and husband, King Hannon.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Two sons, Keith and Ron (Kathy); daughter, Phyllis
Davis; one sister, Madelyn Durham; grandchildren, Damien, Dion, Stephanie, Levenia
(Gregory) Phillip, Dominque, Donnie, Tiffany, Malick, Hassan, Stacey, Geminesse, Robert
(Teena) and Heaven; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
