Hedy Mae was born December 10, 1941 to the late Cleven and
Geneva Brown Sr.
Hedy accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the
late Rev. LS Burrage of Greater Rock M.B. Church.
Hedy received her education at Howland and Hess elementary
school and Farragut High School.
Hedy married and later divorced Charles Jeffries Sr.
Hedy worked and retired from Threshold as a House Manager.
When Hedy walked into a room, she brightened it up. Hedy loved
shopping and wearing her favorite fragrance.
Hedy was called home to her final resting place October 25, 2020.
Hedy was preceded in death by her parents Cleven and Geneva
Brown Sr, Siblings, Willie Brown, John L Brown Sr, Cleven Brown Jr,
Daisie Mae Brown, and a special friend Johnnie Cheeks.
Hedy was a loving sister, aunt, and friend who will never be forgot-
ten.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Five sisters, Geraldine
(Otis) Hall, Pauline Johnson, Margaret Brown, Bonnie Nelson and
Valerie (Oliver) Ewing. Two brothers Fred L. Brown of Memphis, TN
and Steve Brown. A special niece Tenisha Brown. A host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
