Jimmy “Longhaul" Starks on July 19,1975 in Clarksdale, Ms.
That’s when “Mr. GOOD looking" he would call himself was
born.
As a child Jimmy grew up in Bellwood, with Brothers Issac
“Main" Starks and Jumeika (Donny) Starks. Jimmy graduated
from Proviso West High School shortly after is where he
worked with his Father at there families trucking company
Starks Trucking Company. He then later ventured off and
worked in machinery as a fork lift driver for many years. He

unity Jimmy finally got want he wanted which were children. Jimmy made sure his legacy would
never die by naming them Jimmy and Jimi. He was family oriented, extremely charming, charis-
matic, funny, outgoing, adventurous, and had a need for speed. Deek loved motorcycles and nice
cars. Anyone he came in contact with him loved him right away! He was very smart and savvy. He
loved to make people laugh, and would help anyone! He loved to be love and to give love.
He had a huge heart. He was a great singer and liked to make up songs and make you laugh. He
paved the road for many, he was Selfless.. Loved playing with his kids.. A great teacher, and a fa-
ther figure for many children.... He was a lover, but was a fighter when he needed to be! Jimmy
was resilient! A man of morals. A stand up guy, a loyal friend, and an EXCELLENT FATHER! An
extrovert and loved people.. He Especially in his last months of life lived each moment with great
integrity, nothing that wasn't truly important mattered anymore, people's opinions which he cared
so much about through life became of no importance, disagreements and arguments served no
purpose, he found peace within himself.. We should use his example of integrity moving forward
through our lives, Be Love, give love, show love, forgive others, and focus on the positive.

He is Gone (Remember Me)
You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he lived, You
can close your eyes and pray that he will come back, or you can open your
eyes and see all that he has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him. Or you can be full of the
love that you shared, You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday.
You can remember him and only that he is gone. Or you can cherish his
memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind be empty and
turn your back, Or you can do what he would want: smile, oipen your eyes
love and go on.

Dear Deek, The memories you are leaving behind are on of a kind...you
touched so many lives without realizing the impact that your presence could
cause...as I think back over the months and moments we shared, in so many
words you were telling me this day would come...you wasn't the type to look
for a pity party so you faded away and went in. LOVE YOU.
