Judy Ann Reed better known as Sis was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 3,
1957 to parents Willie Mae and J.C Thomas. Both parents preceded her in death.
Sis was born the second child of three children.
Sis accepted Christ at an early age, she attended Mount Olive Baptist Church.
Sis was a student at West Garfield Middle School in Chicago, Illinois. She also
attended and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1976.
Sis was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years. She enjoyed assisting her
patients and helping them live more fulfilling lives. Her kindness and warm heart
were shared with her clients as she found ways to make them laugh and have fun.
She was joined in matrimony to Larry Reed and to this union four children were
born. She later married James Dulin who proceeded her in death.
Sis enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending family
gatherings, watching black & white films, and documentaries as well as gardening,
cooking, traveling and listening to music. Sis's sense of humor was like non other.
While spending time with family, she was known to tease and joke around at the
drop of a dime. To top it all off, her laugh and smile was contagious. When you
heard her laughing, you knew there was fun to be had.
Sis departed this life on March 12, 2021.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Her brother, Larry Thomas; sister, Patricia Reed
(Don); her son, Larry; three daughters, Nadia (Occie), Nakia (Terrell), and Nina
(Corey); seven grandchildren that she affectionately named her "Seventh Heaven";
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
