Obituary for Mondria Brown
Mondri Ascalphus Brown was born into life to Lashell Parent and
Dominique Brown on May 8, 1995, in Oak Park, Illinois he was
the middle child.
Mondri confessed his faith at an early age at Jordan Temple Mis-
sionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Stephen E. Richard-
son. Mondri was baptized November 1, 1998, at Jordan Temple
Missionary Baptist Church 900 West Lockwood Chicago IL.
Mondri attended Eliza Chappell Elementary School and Carl Schurz
High School in Chicago, IL Mondri worked for Ceasefire helping to
bring peace to the streets of Chicago, Illinois. Mondri was a
strong, independent, loving father, son, and brother. He always
looked out for his family and the ones he loved. No matter what,
he made sure everyone was good. Mondri was loved by everyone
he encountered.
Mondri departed this life on October 21, 2019. He was preceded
in death by his grandmother, Estelle Hayes (Emma); grandfather,
Max Parent, great grandmother, Beatrice Peller; great grandmoth-
er, Inez Brown, and aunt, Dorothy M. Chew.

Henry Robbins (Michelle) of Sycamore, IL and Jerry Chew Sr.
(Yvette) of Sauk Village, IL; One great uncle Andrew Voss of Park
Forest, IL; One great grand aunt Leola Tolliver of Chicago, IL. One
special cousin Shaquille Chew of Chicago Il, and many other family
and friends.
