Pattie Ann Thomeson, affectionately called Pat, was born July 21, 1959
in Chicago, IL to the union of Earline and Jimmie L. Thomeson. Pat was
the youngest of four children born to this union. Her brothers Larry and
Robert, aka Kookie, both preceded her in death.
Pat confessed hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized.
Pat attended Jens Jensen Elementary School, Manley High School and the
Automation Academy.
Pat worked various jobs over the years but her most liked and memorable
was as a live-in private caretaker for the elderly. Pat was very much loved
by the families of those that she cared for, they often compensated her
beyond measure with lavish gifts.
Pat was a kind, sweet and nurturing spirit. She was so nurturing that she
often put the needs of others before her own. Pat possessed a heart of
gold and she would give you the shirt off her back. She genuinely cared
for others. Pat also possessed an abundance of strength and favor from
God. Pat was tough and usually overcame any obstacles placed before
her whether it was her health issues or just life in general.
Pat will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Her Mom will especially
miss the times they spent together during the holidays. Pat always
cooked the holiday ham and would always let you know that she had to
cook Momma a ham.
Fly high Pattie and take your rest, we love you but God loves you best.
Pat leaves to cherish her memory: Her mother, Earline Thomeson; sister,
Bettie Duniver; nieces, Qiana Carter, Marion Thomeson and Reid Thome-
son; nephews, Robert Thomeson, Jr. and Lavell Thomeson; great niece,
Riley Gaiter; great nephew, Colton Gaiter; sister-in-law, Dora Carter;
aunts and cousins; longtime friend, Earline Coger; and a host of friends,
including those she grew up with as well as those in Riverdale.
