Obituary for Rebecca A Cook

Rebecca Ann Cook was born November 30, 1968 in Chicago IL. She
attended Robert Nathaniel Dett Elementary School and continued her
education at Crane High School. She became captain of the Cheer-
leading squad, she loved to dance and enjoyed teaching others her
routine.
She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. She attended United
Faith Tabernacle Church in which Reverend Willie A. Treadmill had lead-
ership.
Rebecca loved to laugh and watch scary movies. She was a fun-loving
person to be around and she loved her grandchildren very much.
Rebecca departed this life May 7, 2020 and is preceded in death by
her mother, Miltonia Cook.
Rebecca leaves to cherish her memories: Her four loving children, Tyena
(Jerome) Holdens, Darrin Cook, Derrick Ivy, Tamara Cook; five amazing
grandchildren, Dutchess Holdens, Maloundon Holdens, Jerome E. Hold-
ens, Daijour Cook and Roman Holdens; three brothers, Dwayne Wil-
liams, Darryl Cook, Allen Cook; one sister, Felicia Cook: and a host of
family and friends.
No more worries, no more pain, my memories of you will remain.
Just one more laugh I want to hear
No cloudy love, you made it clear
I’m missing you, it hurt so bad. Missing all the good times we had
Even though you had a challenging life
At least you tried to make it right
I’ll say see you later, with no regrets
My mother, my friend I’ll never forget
I’ll see you again. Love you forever
~Your Daughter, Tyena
