Obituary for Roxie James

Roxie L. James was born on September 25, 1935 to parents Moses Lee and
Nola Josie, both of whom preceded her in death.
In 1965, Roxie began to study with Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved to
preach to all, while she aided some in the truth. She really loved Jehovah. She
often had so many children that would come to her house to hang out, so she
would keep them all busy with chores, such as laundry and going to the store.
Most of them say they have their own laundry store to tell and she would
preach to them as well . She continued her study of the bible, dedicating her
life to Jehovah and she was baptized on July 25, 1966.
Roxie attended a small HS in St. Louis, MO, after which she met and married
Daniel James on December 22, 1956. Ten children were born to this union,
one child preceded her in death at birth.
Roxie was employed at the Spiegel Outlet until she became a full time mother
and homemaker.
