Obituary for Seron Stanton

Seron J. Stanton was born on May 7, 1960 in Chicago, IL to the union of
Isaac ‘Fat’ Stanton and Zenobia ‘Sweetie’ Stanton who preceded him in
death.
Seron, affectionately known as ‘Servo’ was an avid lover of The Lord and
of his family. He kept God close to his heart and although life’s
unexpected changes took him through trials and tribulations, he remained
steadfast and loyal.
Servo began his primary education at Daniel Webster Elementary School
and then later transferred to Emmett Elementary School. He completed his
education at Austin High School - all in Chicago, IL. It was at that time he
met the love of his life, Beatrice ‘Peggy’ Johnson, and out of that union,
Juquita was born. He was blessed with six children, which includes
Seronna, Reson, Osha, Renee, and Savonya. He loved his children with all
of his heart.
Servo was a jack-of-all-trades. His skill set included making all things
beautiful. He was a master painter, great softball player, awesome
handyman and he loved “to cut a rug.” Servo lived his life to the fullest.
He lost his years-long battle from multiple ailments on Wednesday,
December 15, 2021 at home.
Seron leaves to cherish his memories to: His father, Isaac Stanton; six
children, Juquita, Seronna, Reson, Osha, Renee, and Savonya; four sisters,
Tracy (Michael), Chevel, Reva, and Tamyla; four brothers, his most beloved
brother Kent, Donald, Ronald, and his most beloved brother, Quinn
(Kesha); three grandchildren, Jasiri, Iwuan Jr., and D’Myia; and a host of
loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and special aunts, Gwen, Doll, and
LaVentress that he dearly loved.
