Skylar Michael Jenkins, whose name means eternal life, was born to
Shavonna M. Jenkins on December 28, 2021 at 9:27 p.m. He weighted
8lbs, 13 oz. and he was 21 inches in length. He was the youngest of
Shavonna’s five children and unfortunately, never got the chance to meet
the rest of his siblings; Noah (the eldest), Marquis Jr., Shamari and
Zechariah. Skylar then passed away on January 3, 2022 at 5:46 p.m.
This made Skylar the youngest grandchild of Antoinette Berry.
Shavonna M. Jenkins, whose name means God is gracious, was born on Sep-
tember 6, 1992 in Chicago, Illinois to Antoinette Berry. Shavonna weighed
8lbs, 12½ oz. And was 19 inches in length. She was the single sister
amongst seven siblings, which is the number of completion and foundation
of God’s word. Also in Revelation alone, the number appears 54 times. She
was raised in a single parent home along with her six siblings; Derrick Jr,
Emerson, Malik, Hasani Jr, Haquann and Hakeem. Sky (Shavonna was the
second oldest of her siblings and the third grandchild of the late Debra
Curtis. She was also the second grandchild of Walter Berry Sr, Debra Curtis
and Vera Jenkins (her grandparents). Darnell Berry, her uncle, preceded her
in death.
Shavonna was a member of Holy one of Israel Church.
Shavonna passed away on December 29, 2021 at 5:10 a.m.
She leaves behind these people to cherish her memories: Sons, Noah Ross,
Marquise Ross Jr., Shamari Ross and Zechariah Jenkins; mother, Antoinette
Berry; brothers, Derrick Jr Jenkins, Emerson Evans, Malik Webster, Hasani
Jr Chavours, Haquann Chavours and Hakeem Chavours; aunts, Chineetha
Curtis and Mildred Jenkins; great aunt, Darlene Davidson; cousins, Charlie
Bass, Charnay Bass and Charvale Bass; and a host of family and friends.
