Obituary for Steven D Taylor

Steven Taylor: was born to the late Mary Lee Taylor and David Love
on March 5, 1969. Steve accepted Christ in the year of 2000 under
the leadership of Chris Lumpkin.
Steve graduated from Spaulding High School. Steve worked for the
Salvation Army for over 20 years.
Steve loved his family especially the kids. Steve was a fun-loving
person to be around and he would tell you like it was especially when
you made him upset, and love telling jokes and to fool around. Steve
loved to watch his movies like Good Times, Sanford And Son, and his
Westerns.
Steven departed this earthly life on Sunday June 27, 2021 at Mount
Sinai Hospital. Mother Mary Lee Taylor and father David Love
preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish: Eight sisters, Brenda (Archie) Taylor Cunning-
ham of Chicago IL, Clara Taylor Hardy of Natchez MS, Rose (Terry)
Williams, Catherine (Eric) Baker and Demetria Gaines, all of Elkhart
IN, Christine Love Milwaukee WI, Josie Love and Joyce Love, from
Indianapolis IN; six brothers, Eddie Taylor and Undra (Paris) Taylor,
both of Chicago IL, Ricky Love, Terry Love, David Love Jr. all from
Elkhart, IN; seven aunts, Deloris Maddicks of Farockaway NY, Lillie
Nolan of Chicago IL, Arnetta Sykes of Joliet IL, Daisy Walker of
Cleveland MS, Sadie OH, and Luberta Love of Elkhart IN; a special
nephew, Cameron Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and
nephews; one Godbrother, Ralph Leverston; and best friend, Mike
Cotton.

Uncle Steve wats up, this yo nephew Gater. Unk I can’t lie you hurt me
with this one. I have so many memories of you. Unk can’t lie you was a
character “Lol” Like yo favorite saying suck me sideways or I heard bout
you, and you aint hear nothing “lol” be playing having people keep asking
you so what you hear Steve. You was a mess but you was our mess and we
love and miss you Unk. You touched a lot of hearts Uncle Steve a warrior
you was so many obstacles in life and you beat them. You was one of Gods
Angel Uncle Steve and God called you home. Yeah I hurt, but not mad I
love you Uncle Steve until we meet again.
