Obituary for Timothy Lee Washington

Timothy Lee Washington was born on January 6, 1960 in Chicago, IL to
the late Jimmie L. Hines (who preceded him in death).
Timothy attended Duane King Middle School and graduated from Crane
Medical Prep High School. Timothy worked various sales jobs and was
well educated through his life experiences. Timothy was always resource-
ful and created opportunities for himself to provide for his family. He en-
joyed life and always wanted the best for his children.
Timothy had a smile that would light up a room and a beautiful heart.
Timothy was loyal to everyone. Timothy always trying to crack a joke to
make other people laugh and smile. He loved to walk and ride his bike.
People called him “Gym Shoes”.
Timothy accepted Christ at an early age.
Timothy Lee Washington departed this life Thursday, September 23,
2021 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. He is preceded in death by:
His mother, Jimmie Lee Hines; sister, Ada Washington; daughter, Lakisha
Brumley; step father, Earl Hines; and cousin, Kevin Jefferson.
He leaves to cherish: His four beautiful children, daughters Samatha Tripp
and Shenal Tripp, sons Prince Tripp and Bruce Tripp; one
sister, Brenda Davis; two brothers, Willie L. Washington “Lil Man” and
Terry Washington; five grandchildren, Rayniyah, Jacques, Shakira, LaBella
and Jakoby; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and
friends who loved him dearly.
It saddens my heart and mind to know I will never see your smile
again Dad. I wasn’t ready for you to leave me but God needed you
more. Love you with all my heart my father Timothy Washington.
