Tyrone King Golar Jr. was born on December 23, 1983 to Tyrone Sr. and Linda Golar
in Chicago, IL. Tyrone attended Austin High School. He confessed his life in Christ at
an early age and joined New Grace Life Cathedral under the leadership of Bishop
Dwayne A. Funches Sr.
Tyrone was employed by Food for Less, Pete’s Market and has worked with various
temporary agencies. Tyrone was a friendly and high-spirited person and liked by many.
He had a kind heart and always willing to help anyone. If you needed anything Tyrone
was always willing to give a helping hand. He enjoyed spending time with his family
and was an avid music listener.
Tyrone was preceded in death by: His father, Tyrone Golar Sr.; his mother, Linda Golar;
his grandmothers, Lovera Williams and Fannie Golar; and his great-grandmother
Gerldine Caldwell.
Tyrone memories will forever be cherished by: His wife Georgia Golar; two stepsons,
Brandon Catlege and Nickolas Catlege; two sisters, Yvonne Brown and Yvette Brown;
three aunts, Yvonne (Robert) Brown-Carter, Emily (Bishop Dwayne Sr.) Funches and
Gail Brown; two uncles Billy Brown and Brian Golar; two nieces, Keenyah Davis and
Kentaysia Davis; one nephew, Antwan Broughton; and a host of cousins and friends
