You held my hand when I was small, You caught me when I fell,
The hero of my childhood, And latter years as well.
Every time I think of you, My heart just fills with pride,
And though I’ll always miss you Dad, I know you’re by my side.
In laughter and in sorrow, In sunshine and in rain, I know you’re
watching over me, until we meet again.
~Felicia
He never looked for praises. He was never one to boast. He just went on quietly
working for the ones he loved the most. His dreams were seldom spoken.
His wants were very few. And most of the time his worries went unspoken too.
He was there...a firm foundation through all our storms of life.
A sturdy hand to hold on to in times of stress and strife.
A true friend we could turn to when times were good or bad One of our greatest
blessings, the man that we called DAD.
~William
My grandad is a man like no other. He raised me, nurtured me, taught
me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me,
but most importantly loved me unconditionally.
There are not enough words I can say to describe just how important my
grandaddy was to me, and what a powerful influence
he continues to be… I love you “G-Diddy”
~Marissa

A precious one has gone
A place is vacant in our hearts
but never forgotten
As long as life and memory last,
we will remember you
I will miss your loving smile
and gentleness
Rest my love in the arms
of the Lord, He has set you free
~Annetta
If Roses grow in Heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Father’s arms And tell him they’re from me.
Tell him I love him and miss him, And when he turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon his cheek And hold him for a while
Because remembering him is easy I do it every day,
But there’s an ache within my heart That will never go away
~Deidra
