Obituary for Willie J Hunt

Willie James Hunt Jr. age 64 died in his home in Justice, IL. in
October 2021.
He was a 1972 graduate of Austin Community Academy High
school. He worked for years but Junior lived his life the way he
wanted. He was a different kind of person; he was caring and
didn't like any conflict. I don't remember ever having an argu-
ment with him.
Junior, as we like to call him, loved Jimi Hendrix and the movie
Superfly it took years for him to get out of those stacked heel
shoes, tripping over his bell bottoms pants, and let's not forget
that hat he pushed over to the side when riding in his Chrysler,
jacked up in the back well shined car. Junior loved him some
fried chicken anytime the dinner bell rang he was always there
and he ate until full then saved some for later. He was a good
brother, a good friend, a good son, a good uncle, and the best
person he could be. Willie James Jr. liked his music playing his
guitar or just listening he lived a carefree life and took each day
as they came.
He is survived by: His long-time love & soulmate, Linda Davis;
several siblings, Bettye J Carter, Edna Hunt, Barbara J. Pena,
Catherine M. Hunt, Eugene Hunt, Carol L. Hunt; an aunt,
nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He is preceded in death by: His parents, father, Willie James
Hunt Sr. and mother, Thelma Hunt; and three sisters, Herstine
Crenshaw, JoAnn Breivogel, Patricia Hunt.
